November Program - Chris Armitage

Come join us at our November meeting as we hear from Chris Armitage, who is running for the 5th Congressional District!

Our regular business meeting will be at 7:30, following our presenter.

Chris Armitage: I am a Veteran of the United States Air Force and a former Law Enforcement officer. 

While Active Duty, I was able to earn my Master's of Science degree in Homeland Security as well as an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice.

Through my role as a community activist I was invited to be a featured speaker at the student-organized Spokane Climate Strike. At the Strike I had the opportunity to introduce Gov. Jay Inslee and speak in front of nearly 1,000 attendees and local activists.

I entered this race because I've witnessed the harm that has been inflicted on our local communities as a result of the corrupting influence of corporate money in politics.

I refuse to wait around and hope that someone steps up to the plate to take action on vital issues like the Climate crisis and getting dark money out of politics. 

We will win this district by EARNING votes every single day and building a Progressive movement. Not just in November 2020, but for years to come.
