Community Candidate Forums
Credit goes to AAUW...just ahead of primary ballot release the AAUW is offering two on-line forums for local candidates.
As for “community”, AAUW has recruited support from the Chamber of Commerce, the Union-Bulletin, the Realtors Association, La Voz newspaper, the Latino Alliance, Whitman’s Politics Department, and the Republican and Democratic Parties.
Tuesday 14 July 6:30 pm: Candidates for county commission and superior court.
Thursday, 16 July 6:30 pm: Candidates for state legislature, District 16
The “how” of joining is a little tricky. Go to the Chamber’s website: www.wwvchamber.com and RSVP. The RSVP is both to estimate participation and counter hacking. (N.B., The website is not yet set up this morning.)
