Presentation: Ranked Choice Voting

Bills allowing local jurisdictions in Washington to adopt ranked choice voting in their local elections, HB 1156 and SB 5584, have advanced in the legislature and may reach Governor Inslee’s desk. Another bill would allow ranked choice voting in presidential primaries. On Tuesday, February 8, Kate Muehlman and other speakers from Fair Vote Washington will describe how ranked choice voting will give voters more choice and more say in our state. The program begins at 6:30 pm, and the Walla Walla County Democrats Central Committee monthly meeting will begin immediately after the program.
