A Call to Action

Presidents’ Day Protest, February 17, 2025, Downtown Walla Walla

Protest, Resist, Challenge, Object, and Report Together!

Democrats and like-minded individuals are standing against the harmful, reckless, and overly broad cuts to vital federal programs and funding imposed by the unelected Elon Musk and DOGE, enabled by President Trump. These actions threaten our communities, and we must fight back. Join us in protest at the following events:

  • Testify to the harm these cuts are inflicting on our county.

  • Question their plans to protect vital public services.

  • Condemn the Trump administration and MAGA Republicans for enabling this assault on our nation.

  • Hold the Republican commissioners accountable for the economic damage caused by these terminations.

Each person should speak during the public comments portion of the meeting.  The number of people who can speak will be limited. Gunnar Fulmer will chair the meeting.
