Lessons Learned from Election Successes

The Walla Walla County Democratic Central Committee convened on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at 6:30 pm in the Walla Walla School District board room, 364 S Park Street. This meeting is not a Walla Walla Public Schools sanctioned or sponsored event.

The meeting began with a program in two parts.

First, Superintendent Wade Smith and Lawson Knight discussed the two Walla Walla Public School levies that will be on the Tuesday, February 13 ballot. Levy 1 is a replacement "Learning Levy." Levy 2 is a capital levy for outdoor athletic and activities facilities.

Second, lessons learned from the successful campaigns of Amy Schwab for the Walla Walla Port Commission, Jeff Robinson for the Walla Walla City Council, and Alayna Brinton for the Walla Walla School Board were shared. Amy and Jeff presented their experiences. Kathy Covey and Cindy Widmer discussed Alayna's campaign.

The program is presented in the video above. A business meeting followed this program.

The next Central Committee meeting is on Tuesday, February 13, 2024.
