Remembering Jimmy Carter

Jimmy Carter died on December 29 at age 100 in Plains, Georgia.
Today, January 4, his body begins a trip from Plains to Atlanta to Washington, DC. He will lie in state in the Capitol Rotunda. On January 9, his funeral service will be held in the Washington National Cathedral. His remains will then return to Plains and be buried next to Rosalyn, his wife of 77 years.
