Reset: The New Beginning of Election 2024

Just before 11 a.m. PDT on Sunday, the race for the Presidency stopped cold, turned upside down, hit a hard reset, and started all over again — all before some of us had finished breakfast.

President Biden stopped his campaign and passed the torch to Vice President Kamala Harris. Democrats across the country rejoiced. Within a few hours, endorsements flooded in from thousands of Democratic leaders, including the chairs of all 50 Democratic state parties. Over $81 million was added to the Harris campaign, a one-day record in political fundraising. By the next day, over $100 million had been received from over 1.1 million donors.

Biden is deservedly thanked from many quarters for his lifetime of public service and one the most successful presidencies of modern times.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump, the worst president ever, called Biden “the worst president ever.” And complained about having to run against Kamala. Poor baby.

So now we have a race between a prosecutor and a felon. Good versus evil. Right versus wrong. Buckle up, Democrats, and roll up your sleeves. This is right where we belong.
