Political Campaigning 101

Learn the ins and outs of a political campaign at the local level whether you plan to become a candidate now or next year, whether you are interested in learning more but have no plans at present to run for office, and/or someone who wants to help a candidate get elected as a key volunteer or manager.

Jake Simpson is a principal of WinPower Strategies, a well-regarded political consulting firm that is one of the few Democratically aligned consultants working east of the mountains.  They have worked on many campaigns in Walla Walla, the 16th LD, and elsewhere on the east side.  Jake is an elected official, having successfully run for city council and mayor of SeaTac, Washington.  You will truly learn the basics of campaigning, writing a stump speech, advertising vs. social media or both! and much more.  There is no charge for the seminar.

Candidates who are progressive and/or Democratic, whether running for a nonpartisan position or partisan, please come!
