Vice President Kamala Harris engaged in a combative interview with Fox News on Wednesday, sparring with anchor Bret Baier on immigration and shifting policy positions while asserting that if elected, she would not represent a continuation of Joe Biden’s presidency.

With 26 days to go until the General Election, Kamala Harris began the next phase of her sprint to the White House. On Monday and Tuesday, she completed several high-profile television interviews as part of her media blitz leading up to Election Day.

Sal Mungia, a candidate for Associate Justice on the Washington State Supreme Court, was our meeting’s featured speaker. The Walla Walla County Democrats Central Committee has endorsed him for this position.

The Walla Walla Branch of the American Association of University Women sponsored two candidate forums.

On September 24, AAUW hosted Carmela Conroy and Michael Baumgartner in Cordiner Hall on the Whitman College campus.
